The Potawatomi Indian Nation recently broke ground on their $240 million dollars bingo casino expansion project in the Menomonee Valley in Milwaukee. The entire expansion project would help create an additional 500 construction jobs and 1,000 permanent jobs inside the casino.
The Potawatomi Bingo Casino, which is owned by the Potawatomi Indian Nation held a historical ground breaking August 28th of their $240 million dollars expansion project located in Milwaukee’’s Menomonee Valley. The expansion project of the Potawatomi Bingo Casino is scheduled to be completed in 2008. It will have an additional 500,000 square feet of entertainment space, a six-story parking garage and a bridge for vehicles connected to the parking structures from the James Groppi Unity Building.

The officials of the Potawatomi Bingo Casino said that the entire expansion project would help create more than 500 construction jobs and a permanent 1,000 additional jobs inside the casino. Included in the whole new expansionm will be two new restaurants, a bar and lounge and food court at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino. The Dream Dance restaurant and the buffet will increase in size and be moved to the first floor space of the newly expanded casino. The Fire Pit Sports Bar would also be increased in size.

On the floor for gaming activities, the quantity of slot machines would be doubled from their previous number with the addition of almost 1,500 machines. The 100 additional tables will be doubled and in some cases, be tripled in amount on their current number on the floor. The $240 million investment by the Potawatomi Nation follows their $140 million dollars investment in the Menomonee Valley in Milwaukee when the bingo casino at 1721 Canal Street opened in 1991.
